Brilliant Vistas

My artistic journey is deeply rooted in the memories and love of my mother, whose passion for creating oil landscape paintings centered on her cherished memories of Cuba. Before my mother passed away, she generously offered me her collection of art supplies, which I gladly accepted. For a couple of years, these supplies remained untouched in my garage, waiting for the right moment to be brought to life.

It was over a decade ago, after her passing, that I decided to delve into the world of art. With a background in chemistry and chemical engineering, my curiosity led me to experiment with mixed media, incorporating acrylic paint, paper, inks, charcoal, and various mediums. Inspired by my mother’s influence, I began creating landscape paintings that merged my scientific knowledge with my artistic endeavors. During this creative process, I had the privilege of being influenced by two prominent artists from the Torpedo Factory. Their guidance and encouragement to experiment with different techniques played a pivotal role in helping me discover my unique style.
